Overview

The BIF12 is a Light Industrial chamber furnace for General purpose heat treatment applications which include -stress relieving normalising and annealing. BIF12 offers chamber capacity ranging from 72 to 203 liters in standard versions. Other chamber capacities/volumes are offered in custom built models.

Standard Features
  • Free radiating coiled wire elements on three sides (2 sides with roof) and load bearing Hearth tile.
  • High quality, Low thermal mass insulation for quick response and energy efficiency.
  • Traditional load bearing refractory used for chamber hearth and entrance which protects against damage and supports heavier loads.
  • A manually operated, insulated vertical lift door opens upward and outward, keeping the hot face away from the operator.
  • To ensure maximum operator safety, the positive break door break switch isolates power from the heating elements whenever the door is opened.
  • R-type thermocouple.
  • A small ceramic chimney is fitted as standard.
  • High end Microprocessor PID controller.

  • Retorts and gas control systems are available for when processes involve inert or reducing atmospheres.
