Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) is a widely utilized method for evaluating key properties of materials that experience either weight loss (or) weight gain as a result of thermal decomposition, oxidation (or) release of volatile substances (or) release of moisture/water vapors.
Thermogravimetric Analysis continuously measures the mass loss of the sample while temperature of a sample is changed over time under a controlled atmosphere.
The elite TGA et250 is Macro Thermogravimetric Analysers designed to measure Moisture, Ash, Volatile Matter, Fixed Carbon and Loss-on-Ignition content of various materials using loss on drying technique. Mass loss of the sample is measured as a function of the temperature by controlling the atmosphere and ventilation rate. The TGA et250 allows upto 19 samples and one reference to be analyzed simultaneously.
