Overview

The TSHvc12 is a horizontal tube furnace equipped with integral vacuum equipment. The Low Vacuum model achieves an ultimate vacuum of better than 1 x 10⁻² mbar, while the High Vacuum model features a turbomolecular pump, reaching a vacuum level of 1 x 10⁻⁵ mbar or better, with a clean, empty work tube.

Heating Elements

Heating is via a resistance wire element wound onto the ceramic worktube which is an integral part of the furnace

Vertical versions are available which have a separate console.

  • The furnace design incorporates an integral elemental tube.
  • Protective outer mesh covers for improved operator safety.
  • High grade resistance wire wound heating elements.

  • Temperature Sensor: 'N' Type thermocouple.
  • High end Microprocessor PID controller.
  • Over temperature protection controller included.
  • Vacuum vessel - Ceramic tube fitted with stainless steel end seals.
  • Rotary pump-two stage sliding vane type.
  • Backing / roughing and baffle valves manually operated.
  • Low Vacuum Model: Ultimate vacuum better than 1 x 10-2 mbar.
  • High Vacuum Model has a Turbomolecular pump for a vacuum level of 1 x 10-5 mbar or better with clean empty work tube.
  • Multi segment, multiprogram storage controller.
  • Gas inlet with additional safety systems for use with combustible atmospheres.
  • Flowmeter and valves for control of gas throughput.
  • Semi-automatic or fully automatic vacuum/heating cycles.
