Overview

The TSHVC12 is a Horizontal tube furnace with integral vacuum equipment for low vacuum use with an ultimate vacuum level 10 ¯5 mbar nominal.

Heating Elements

Heating is via a resistance wire element wound onto the ceramic worktube which is an integral part of the furnace

Vertical versions are available which have a separate console.

Standard Features
  • Vacuum vessel - ceramic tube with SS end seals.
  • Rotary Pump - two stage sliding vane pump.
  • Water cooled oil diffusion pump or turbo molecular pump.
  • Backing/roughing & baffle valve (manual).
  • Pirani gauge-Low vacuum monitoring.
  • Penning gauge-high vacuum monitoring.
  • Thermocouples, type N, one for control and one for overtemperature protection.
