Overview

The TSHVC15 is a Horizontal tube furnace with integral vacuum equipment for low vacuum use with an ultimate vacuum level 10 ¯5 mbar nominal.

Heating Elements

Top grade silicon carbide rods mounted parallel with and equispaced around the furnace tube.

Vertical versions are available which have a separate console.

Standard Features
  • Vacuum vessel - ceramic tube with SS end seals.
  • Rotary Pump - two stage sliding vane pump
  • Water cooled oil diffusion pump or turbo molecular pump
  • Backing/roughing & baffle valve (manual)
  • Pirani gauge - Low vacuum monitoring
  • Penning gauge - high vacuum monitoring
  • Thermocouples, type R, one for control and one for overtemperature protection.
