Overview

The BIF14 and BIF15 are light industrial chamber furnaces designed for general-purpose heat treatment applications, including stress relieving, normalizing, and annealing. These models offer a standard chamber capacity ranging from 102 to 203 liters, with custom-built options available for other capacities and volumes.

Standard Features
  • Silicon carbide elements which radiate heat direct onto the workpiece provides rapid heating and cooling and low running costs.
  • Generally low thermal mass insulation with brick front and hearth.
  • The furnace is fitted with an electrically operated upward opening door on a parallel link that keeps the hot face away from the operator.
  • Overtemperature protection system included as standard.
  • R-type thermocouple.
  • High end Microprocessor PID controller.
  • To ensure maximum operator safety, a positive break door switch isolates power from the heating elements whenever the door is opened.
  • A small ceramic chimney is fitted as standard.

  • Retorts and gas control systems are available for when processes involve inert or reducing atmospheres.
