Overview

Elite's Ash Fusion Determinator, EATC17 is the High temperature floor-mount model which works similarly to the standard model, but for samples which fuse at higher temperatures.

EATC17 - High temperature model for Biomass Ash, Refuse-Derived Fuel (RFD) Ash, and Solid mineral fuel Ash, solid bio fuel Ash. A maximum temperature of 1700 degrees can be achieved using heating elements consisting of molybdenum disilicide.

  • A high-resolution camera with a manually adjustable lens mounted on a suitable arm is used to view the samples being tested
  • This allows for easy movement away from the furnace for work tube access.
  • The video image is sent to a high-end computer system where it will be recorded and displayed in a specially created logging program
  • Grid overlay feature for accurate comparison of sample height and width
  • Accepts specimen shapes as per standards viz. cylinder, pyramid, upright pyramid & truncated pyramid
Standard Features
  • Precisely controlled high temperature horizontal resistance furnace.
  • Furnace is capable to work at both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres.
  • Programmable furnace temperature ranges.
  • For each batch up to 6 samples can be analysed.
  • Maximum furnace temperature enabling biomass, SRF & coal ash testing.
  • Automatic and continuous recording of digital images.
  • Grid overlay feature for accurate comparison of sample height and width. Automated digital image capture of samples. The frequency of images recorded is set by customer preference, from every 1°C increment to every 20°C. Alarms are fitted to indicate when supply gas pressure are running low. Pressure switches are fitted to all three gas lines (CO2, H2 & purge gas).
