Vacuum (Cold / Wall) Chamber Furnace - BVT20

The BVT is a cold wall vacuum furnace designed to operate at 1800°C in vacuum and 2000°C in neutral or reducing atmosphere.

Standard Features

Choice of high or low vacuum.
Heating by high grade graphite elements.
Fully automatic "fail safe" system is fitted as standard.
The top loading swing door is fully interlocked for safety.
Temperature control is by thermocouple up to 1800°C and by optical pyrometer above 1800°C.
The furnace is equipped for use with inert/reducing gases with automatic purging for maximum purity of atmosphere. A simple flowmeter calibrated for argon is fitted.
Chamber access is via a pneumatically operated lid lift system with manual swing aside to clear the furnace top.
